it has been months since a lot happened.

i've changed so much that i limit myself to a lot of things.

especially friends. learn not to make new ones.
its kinda awesome. just one girl that make me changed so much.

its been like she never existed in my life anymore.
everything that happened last time, between me n her its gone. long gone.
and all the friends we have, were all gone too.
i am back to square one where the real people matters.

Drove to Bukit Bintang and went to Bentley to get musical accessories, and Jesslyn saw this hello kitty electric guitar. PINK!!...lol

We couldn't resist but had to take a photo of it.

The initial idea was to go Sungai Wang and get our newly arrive 'Jai Ho' from Halleonard and so we were very happy for it to arrive.

My company, AG ELEVATES is an advertising firm. They specializes in greeting cards. They are one of the best top sellers in Asia for such a small company.

The business is toooo good. Super good to be exact. That everyone wants their design and greeting card send out imediately.

My art director. Extremely cool, nice, calm and good person. He works his butt of everyday until 2am, working to chase the orders and artworks for the customers/clients.

Suddenly, in this middle of the night I got the inspiration to write this down and I would want every bboy/dancers in Penang to read this...

Did you all remember?
Many years back, dancing were an IT thing to learn and every young teenage would wanna do what they see on television. There were some who does it to impress the girls or just to be 'cool' or popular and there was the minority who only does it because it is interesting. Thus, they want to fit in a group just to be 'cool'. Following the trend that goes on.
Back in our schooling days in uniform, after the bell rings. There we go so called 'dancing' on the floor. All we wanted was spin moves, upside down moves and we wanted to be famous. We all forgotten to respect each other...and only judge a book by its cover.

YOU NEED THE LOOKS TO BE COOL.
YOU HAVE TO LOOK COOL.
YOU MUST BE A PURE HIP-HOP lover to be a dancer...
That we only look down on those 'uncool' people, with nerdy glasses, big size weight and uncool looks.

blablablablablablabla...remember?

When we battle it out on the dance floor, if your opponent does a move, you have to do a better one then his. Example, if he does an air freeze you HAVE to do something better then that and what I mean, is maybe letting your legs just touch a few inch closer? (we don't even danced to the beat at all..not even close)

AM I RIGHT?

That time, we claimed to be 'old skool. When we don't even know what old skool is.

Day by day, more youths are at it just to impress people, only those with a strong passion stay and those with weaker passion quits. They just threw it a side because they themselves know it; it was just a gimic to fit in society. We were once laughed at for being ridiculous dancing on the floor. Now......

everything changed.....

Those who stayed became greater and more powerful. The passion stays alive. It is not about being racist or being a hater anymore. Its not about being the best. It is not about being cool and it is definetely not about meeting hot girls!
We are all passionate in what we do.
During that time, breakdancing was a gang rather then a crew. We used it againts each other; to protect one another. We finally learn respect, the culture, commitment and we are united as a Malaysian culture (which is very unique in Malaysia)

In 2002, all that matters to us was power moves and the coolest thing you could do. In 2009, styles, originality and respect is the thing to us now. We learnt the culture and we shall move it forward.

Take a look at yourself and give yourself a pat at the back. You've made it very far. Look around you. Look at the dancers you know. The Penang dance scene has evolve into something so different. We've got worldly recognize dancers coming to Malaysia and putting our country on the map. The government is finally chipping in support.

And...and..and. Look at yourself. You thought you couldn't or to even dance. Now, look at you!

Being a dancer is all about the passion and commitment you give yourself too. It is not about being cool or the glamour. We are no longer being labelled as a category or a freakin' stereotype anymore.

DANCING IS ABOUT PASSION.

I'll continue to bring the dance scene in to higher heights through documentaries I make myself. I wanna show the world that dancing is passion not about being cool.

met up with philip and hui ming yesterday day night. a very late night, with my cousin beside me, she guided me all the way to philip's place. its pretty much very far, and we both kinda got lost in the LDP Highway...then, made it back to a mosque where, it is actually just beside Philip's house..LOL

when on a road trip ad just guided philip around damansara and, petaling jaya. drove him around places and he had to drive my car in KL.

TTDI, semuanya orang kaya, and its such a beautiful place to visit. looks, similiar like a european trial....

made it back home at 2am, and fell straight on to my bed...

going on another road trip with philip, hui ming and radius. but this time in the KTM, LRT and by foot. all equator students. gonna get, some stuff for friends, to be sent back to penang...

Great day today...

My boss loves my illustration, he said I deserve better then just a lousy GPA. He said I should go to Paris, to further my studies..and I was like, WHAT THE FCUK!!! "You are qualified to go Europe with this artwork."

The stress is intense, but I manage to get it done. He gave me one of the best lectures I ever had in my life, and it gave me a big impact. I'll post up his lectures one day, but for the ones he asked me, I would say that:

I am not ready for work and to commit myself in the working life. I am not looking forward to going back to Penang, because I want the life here in KL. I found a crew, a job, and I can learn to speak Cantonese..lol. I believe I am good and I am able to handle the stress. I just don't want to return to Penang without completing my purpose in life yet.

Well, the truth is...while the rest of my classmates went through interviews looking for a job, I just got one, without asking. The boss is my parents good friend, and the company ever had an internship before. So, I was the first. They all thought that, I was just another failure or rejected piece. I could have worked in any other design companies in Penang but I chose to go to KL. I want to prove myself, that I can lead my own life and also find my purpose in life. That was the initial idea, why I chose KL. You can learn a lot in just one day, by being in a huge city that you barely know and, everything is moving twice as fast then in Penang. The food is super expensive, and I have to pay rental and all by myself, even when I am living in my brother's house.

I found Ultimaxx Studio, all the Kuala Lumpur bboys and, all my old friends. Got to meet up with voteband people..=)

Yes, its stressful but I love this stress.....

went to the curve for some, interior stuff and to lay my eyes on some new designs. got lost in damansara, and just realized that after counting my expenses, my petrol alone is rm 300 a month..T.T

then, took a stroll around searching for philip's place, since i was near his internship location. was searching for a headspin helmet for kheong, and some new accessories for my camera. went to Switch in the Curve. for your information, the services and accomodation in Switch KL, is 10 times better then Penang. The pay is WAY higher then the one I am with....

went to little penang in the curve and realize that, the penang food here is freakin' expensive....a bowl of cendul is rm 5, where in penang road is only rm 1.30

you've shopped in MNG, MANGO. now, thee is MNJ. (same logo design and atmosphere but it adds a salon in it as well) u can have a complete make over in it...

already booked plans for an awesome birthday next two weeks..for those who wanna come, just come to KL..XD

there was a small and VERY tiny farewell today...

I got a prank called yesterday in class. Someone, with a private number called me up.

operator: with a serious tone. "Selamat pagi, encik. Pernahkah, company saya telefon awak?

me: "Tak. Siapa yang panggil ni?"

operator: "Oh, sebenarnya, saya mewakili company xxx (forgotten what's the name), awak secara sukarela telah di pilih.

me: "oh, di pilih untuk ape?" (i thought i was in the finals for some, music competition shit.)

operator: "awak, telah memenangi rm 50,000 kerana pernah memihak kami untuk, dalam acara judi. bolehkah, encik berikan informasi encik untuk di recordkan? nama, tempat tinggal, nombor telefon dan juga, no. akaun bank simpanan encik?

me: (i knew i was pranked..so) "oh, ok boleh. tetapi, sebelum itu, bolehkah you kirimkan cek tu kepada saya dulu sebelum, saya memberikan informasi tersebut?"

he then, shut the phone immediately.

it figures that, money ain't easy to get or even to win it just like that.

The secret in the parking lots.

I woke up this morning went to Gurney for lunch with, Rebecca, Kenneth, Esther and Ivan. So, I told myself, that the basement parking should be fine by the time I got in. There was this idiotic and angered driver.

Do, you ever thought that how can accident happens in a parking lot when your car is still?

Well, this is the secret...

So, this driver was driving a huge seven series BMW, he couldn't get out of the parking space due to his BUNDLE of nerves and that he was driving a big car and there was this family van parked right at the opposite on a parking lot. The driver couldn't get out at all, so he struggled for only a few reverse pulls and he finally made out. Then, suddenly....

he got out of his luxurious car ran to the nearest wall, and countered back from the wall launching a flying kick to the family van and BANG!!!! the driver's door got smashed up real good. With a proud and 'I AM SO STRONG, EGO', he drove away with a drifting sound and actually, drove off to another section of the parking. He didn't read the directions telling him to EXIT sign. By the way, its a KL number plate.

So, remember the next time you see your door being smashed up, no idiot would wanna bang your car with his car. They can just kick it like that ever wonderous gentlemen. life rocks, doesn't it? =)

Then, I went to G Hotel for a short appointment with the Event Manager, which got cancelled later. Joined, my classmates for lunch discussing stuff then, went back home and the other half of my classmates came to my house for a group project. Daniel, Sean, Wei Hern, Beng Hui and Hector. We were suppose to be finishing our work, but Sean's car broke down somewhere. Daniel got too bored..lol. Sean's stress level increased, and for the rest, they just seem to party in my house with my cat and with soft drinks on both hands.

When baru wanna habis, assignment wei??? T.T ..lol

I am so happy to be back with my school band. As a guest player and also, senior. Plus, I am the oldest in the band. (during that concert period) All the little kiddies knows me, because I tourched them during the holiday training camps. =) I mean, I got to train the kiddies in an old school fashion way back when I was their age.

This is one of the greatest moments of my life, getting back the memories that I always enjoyed being in a music environment and also, brotherhood and now, sisterhood. What can I ask for? Its kinda hard for me to explain it to those who never experience this life before. Well....

You've spent your entire life with the band and suddenly all of it is gone. I just cried my heart out when it was my turn to retire and now, I'm back as an odd person. I never cried for something so memorable in my life, not even for love..

School's Out

I miss...

I miss my high school life. I used to be in a class called 5A1. Where we were all mad over football, cars, phones, and girls. We used to hang out everyday, same time, same place and same spot. When the school bell rings, we will all rush imidiately for recess or to the next band practice. Delicious and super cheap canteen food. I got to see class fights all the time. I even got to see one of my classmates get raped in class. Literally, we were all boys. =) Bro. Paul, with his everlasting sarcasm and dramatic personality. I got to stay back in school until the sun falls, and just hang out around with my buddies, jamming with my instrument or just plain breakin' on the floor.

It all started in high school. BBoying and my dreams of becoming a musician. I was so impressed when I see all those professionals spinning on their heads and flipping like there is no tommorrow. Well, all those influence had gotten me to be a better bboy now.

The biggest memory is still, leaving my school band in tears and a torn page. Where we swore to be the best in Penang or even more. After all the years, Bro. Paul is finally retiring and that ends the legacy of the Xaverian history. The biggest treasure to our school.

Brother Paul, we love you very much, from all Xaverians. I got to perform and commit myself for one last time before Brother Paul officially retires.

I lost another friend due to this cruel world.

I am different then before.

I can't be spontaneous anymore. I can't think of any poems are any romantic thing to say. I just suddenly stop loving and stopped, expressing what I see in every corner. I told myself, its time to wake up and smell the coffee. Reality is even more fucked up then it used to be. What did you, know? I lost one most important thing about myself...passion and commitment. I think I finally, just gave up on being committed to something that is useless to me. What the fuck happened to me? I have become even more brutal and cruel to people through sarcasm. I never smile and even, greet anyone that comes by to me. Seriously, what the fuck happened to me? I screwed my customers for being rude to me. I pierced my juniors in the orchestra or band very hard, that I make sure they bleeds. I can finally put my foot down on so many things that I couldn't. I limit myself from knowing people, but a part of me still wants to know as much as I can. I also close my heart on meeting new girls or go dating with a girl. Deniable!

Its like to me, my world is only meant and I was born to be a bboy. I'll fully dress up as an ass, and whenever no one is watching I have my beats on all the time. I'll just dance to it. All I want now is to spend time with only the great people I have around me that I neglected. I've got plenty of them. I don't need a new one anyway. I just need this people I have and currently know.

I'm so confused about what is going on. My sister said, I look different even though she sees me everyday. To her, something about me has changed, but she just couldn't figure it out just yet. My sister has this so called 'six sense'.

Ended with a bang!

I've stopped working in Switch due to college commitment.

No pictures to update.

I was incharge of the entire Wacom section. Which sucked big time. I met up with Wilson, who was the boss of Studio Grafix. He also offered me a job there. Studio Grafix is the BANANA brand company. I then got offered another job, as an illustrator and also graphic designer in KL as part of my internship.

What happened next? A professional illustrator crictic my illustration with a heavy doss of 'ITS NOT GOOD ENOUGH"..lol. He gave me great advice on illustration.

I am also the top seller for Wacom tablet. Well, it was just by luck. I was the one doing all the drawing and drawing all day long.

It was Kant's birthday and Mr. Li Chau Ging treat us to a late supper in Manila Place. See all of you in the next fall.

What happened today?

I bumped into the entire Ultimaxx crew cyphering at the floor.

Sean, Hector, Hui Ming and Philip came to just stare at me. Sean helped me out with the Wacom thing. (sean, don't give me crappy images..lol) My legs were aching sore like fuck.

On the bright side, I got to use all the latest Wacom tablet. That's right, even the Cintiq and that RM11, 000 direct touch screen. OMG! I am so in love with all of the Wacom items. I got to show off some, uncertain and some horrible tablet skills which still seems to impress the audience. The General Manager didn't allow me to join Ultimaxx for the cypher session.

And....

there is this 2 on 2 battle in Prangin Mall. Cypher Kingz and every other bboy in Penang is joining the battle. Ah Den, came to me for a so called 'partnership' but I couldn't even if they paid me to join.

So, hell ya! I am stressed. I haven't been seeing my classmates for a week now and is so stress over orchestra practice as well....

Today was another day of the BBoy Night, but this time I took part in the competition after not being active in the cypher field for a very long time. I didn't expect anything at all.

So, I battled BBoy Fire. Who was my ex-instructor. The event was judged by BBoy Katsu from Japan, Joel & Z from Urban Groove.

Suprisingly, Katsu gave me the victory but Joel & Z gave BBoy Fire.

Imagine that. Katsu gave me the win.

I then asked him about my mistakes. He seems to like my style, and ask me to continue on to do what I am doing best.

That was like the best RM 15 I ever spent on!
